We remain in the clinch.
Richards is pressed up against the cage. Buidi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Richards down to the mat. Richards avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #CL2# Richards moves into the clinch. Buidi is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Buidi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Burns's head. Burns wants to control but Buidi passes easily into half guard.

Yagami stuffs the takedown attempt from Buidi. Buidi gets slowly back to his feet. Nice shot by Yagami. Buidi shoots in for a takedown but Yagami shows good takedown defense. Yagami misses with a jab, cross combination.
Buidi walks into a straight right hand from Yagami. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buidi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Yagami swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Buidi. A nice inside leg kick there by Yagami. That's going to slow Buidi down. This has been an exciting period of action! Yagami lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

#R1# Melendez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Buidi throws a wild body kick that Melendez sees coming a mile off. Melendez tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Melendez throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Buidi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Melendez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Melendez working a defensive guard but Buidi passes into half guard.
