We've been told by Szobo's head coaches at Gumburcules Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Szobo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Assura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Szobo somewhat.

Szobo walks straight into a right hand from Assura - that's dropped him! Assura jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Szobo from any more punishment! Szobo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Nice defenses there by Greene.

Assura throws a looping overhand right but Greene ducks down to avoid it.
Greene has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Assura finds it's way round the side to connect with Greene's head.

Assura loads up on a big right hand but Greene slips the punch.
Assura misses with a jab, cross combination.

Assura looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Assura drops Saburo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Saburo! Assura dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
