Nunez walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Nunez limp body while Sureshot jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

#R1# Strickland cracks a nice hook into Nunez's ribs. Nunez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Strickland swings for the body but Nunez moves out of range.
Strickland clobbers Nunez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Nunez moves away from the strike by Strickland. Strickland keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Strickland digs a good hook to Nunez's body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Strickland, as that shot connected.
Nunez takes a shot right to the bread basket. Strickland feints and then cracks Nunez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nunez down. Nunez moves in looking to clinch but Strickland pushes him off. Strickland seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Strickland throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nunez. Nunez tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Nunez takes one to the side of the head.

Nunez takes one to the chin there. Malinowski connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nunez momentarily.
Malinowski scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Nunez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Malinowski.
Malinowski seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Jab by Malinowski. Nice body punch from Malinowski. Malinowski cracks Nunez with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nunez tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Malinowski pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nunez is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Trujillo tries for a takedown but Nunez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nunez is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Ronaldo fails with the takedown and Nunez makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Ronaldo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ronaldo scores with the left hand. Nunez knows he should have avoided that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ronaldo looks to clinch and Nunez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ronaldo shoots in for a takedown. and Nunez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nunez uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Anderson has time to react. Anderson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nunez counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Anderson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nunez is pawing at Anderson, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Anderson's nose. Anderson is badly hurt! Nunez pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Anderson tries desperately to hold on but Nunez is relentless in his assault! As Anderson receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Nunez away and this one is in the books!
