#R1# Anderson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Strickland. A shot to the body from Anderson misses and Strickland counters with a left and a right that stings Anderson. Strickland ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Anderson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Strickland but Strickland pushes him off and we're back to square one. Anderson on the wrong end of a nice hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strickland avoids the body shot from Anderson.
A telegraphed right hand from Anderson misses the target. Strickland lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. #T1# Anderson misses with a right hand and Strickland cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Anderson throws out a loose jab but Strickland uses good head movement to avoid it. Strickland swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Anderson misses with a right hand and Strickland counters with a stiff right hand. Strickland throws the left hand but Anderson avoids the punch easily.#TD2# Anderson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Strickland did well to prevent Anderson getting side control. Strickland is trying to escape back to his feet but Anderson uses the scramble to pass into side control.

enabling Nunez to counter with a crisp jab. Nunez slips a straight right by Anderson. Sloppy strikes from Anderson. Those never looked like landing. Anderson throws a combination that misses and Nunez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Anderson throws a poor cross that misses
and Nunez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nunez uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Anderson has time to react. Anderson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nunez counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Anderson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nunez is pawing at Anderson, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Anderson's nose. Anderson is badly hurt! Nunez pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Anderson tries desperately to hold on but Nunez is relentless in his assault! As Anderson receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Nunez away and this one is in the books!
