Sherdog has hold of one of Bala's legs. Bala is fighting the takedown attempt but Sherdog gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Bala tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sherdog throws a strike but Bala rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR#
Bala not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Bala is pushing down on Sherdog's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sherdog is fighting to maintain full guard but Bala has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sherdog shoots for a double leg takedown but Bala sprawls well. He's pushed Sherdog's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Juca Bala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emmanuel Sherdog.
