#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#TD2# Rebar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Rebar looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#SUB# Calderon throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

#R1##TD# Hill looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hill trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rebar is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Rebar keeping moving, preventing Hill from controlling successfully. Hill being controlled here momentarily. Rebar wants to get back to his feet but Hill is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rebar can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill slips nicely into half guard. Rebar trying to control but Hill postures up.
#T1# Rebar is looking for a sweep. Hill is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rebar tries to kick Hill off but Hill keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rebar is trying to get back to full guard. Hill tries to stand and escape but Rebar is controlling the position. Rebar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hill is looking to advance position but Rebar won't allow it. Rebar is trying to control but can't.

Hill wants to clinch. And Rebar tries to counter it with a takedown but Hill pushes his down on his head and steps out. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hill fails with a takedown attempt. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hill wants to control from the top but Rebar keeps moving. Rebar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
