Alfredsson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Alfredsson lands a glancing blow to the side of Bailey's head. We've been hearing reports that Bailey has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Alfredsson moves out of range as Bailey strikes. Bailey has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buffs trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bailey stopping the sweep attempt from Buffs. Bailey wants to control from the top but Buffs keeps moving. #T1##SUB2# Bailey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
