Makkonen lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Everett is looking to close the distance but Makkonen sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Everett crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Everett is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Make Makkonen!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ryun Sang Min.
