Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Ettish tries to clinch but Zero is having none of it. Zero looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ettish tries to close the distance and clinch but Zero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ettish tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Zero manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Zero changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Ettish keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Ettish wants to clinch. And Carter tries to counter it with a takedown but Ettish pushes his down on his head and steps out.#CL# Ettish moves into the clinch. Ettish jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carter walks away with a smile on his face. #R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Lara lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ettish backs up against the cage.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Lara throws a right and a left that both miss. Ettish seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ettish rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lara moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ettish misses with the combination.
Lara unleashes a big counter combination but Ettish bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.#T1# Lara takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Ettish lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
#T2# Lara misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ettish went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Lara rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ettish moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lara throws a combination that misses and Ettish counters with a series of strikes. Lara will be more careful next time no doubt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ettish misses with a wild combination.
