We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Borges has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Hobbs shoots in looking for a takedown. Borges tries to sprawl out of it but Hobbs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hobbs regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.#SUB2# Hobbs escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kane gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hobbs is trying to hold Kane in close to prevent damage but Kane has managed to pass into half guard.
