Grayson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Baker circles away quickly and effectively. Grayson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baker. #CL2# Baker instigates a clinch. #BC2# Baker breaks from the clinch.
Grayson thows a left - swing and a miss! Grayson scores with a jab. Baker acknowledges it with a nod of the head. #TD2# Baker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Grayson did well to prevent Baker getting side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baker content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. #SUB2# Baker is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baker controlling the action here. #T1# Grayson looks like he's trying to stand up.

Baker tries for a takedown but Grayson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Baker on the wrong end of a nice hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Baker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Baker looks winded! Grayson stuffs the takedown. Grayson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Dick Grayson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Baker. Grayson digs a good hook to Baker's body.
Grayson is looking to wear down Baker with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Baker drops his hands momentarily. Grayson doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Baker staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Baker doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Carter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grayson swivels and escapes. Grayson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Carter seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Grayson shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Carter is backing up but Grayson catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Carter covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Grayson Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

#R1# Mera shoots in but no luck this time. Mera throws a head kick that misses and Grayson counters with a left and a right that stings Mera. Mera shoots in but no luck this time. Grayson feints the counter takedown. Mera looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Grayson is fending him off so far but Mera persists. Nope, Grayson circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Usaa Mera. That's going to take a lot out of him. Grayson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Grayson connects with a body shot. Grayson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Grayson lands the left hand. Mera fails with the takedown and Grayson counters with a straight right hand.#ROC2#Mera is rocked! Mera is breathing heavily. Mera avoids a punch combination nicely.

Grayson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Grayson is looking to stand up but Wiseman isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wiseman sitting in guard here, content to control. Wiseman cracks Grayson with a solid left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wiseman's corner is telling him to maintain position. Grayson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wiseman. Wiseman throwing strikes but missing. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
