A little feinted left hand from Leighton on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Cooke misses with a hook. Leighton avoids the body shot from Cooke.
An attempted straight right counter from Leighton misses the target. Jab from Cooke. Leighton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Cooke lands with a hook. #R1# Leighton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leighton wants it to stay on the feet. Fei shoots for a double leg takedown but Leighton sprawls well. He's pushed Fei's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Leighton was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Fei shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Billy Leighton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zhang Fei. Fei misses with a takedown and Leighton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #CUT#It looks like Zhang Fei has been cut. Fei goes for a double leg but Leighton avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Leighton continues to drive forward. Leighton throws an overhand right that drops Fei like a sack of potatoes! Leighton dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.#CL# Leighton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Diaz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Leighton fights it off and pushes away nicely.
