#R1# Rockefeller pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Stanton back to the cage. Rockefeller follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Stanton moves away from the strike by Rockefeller. Rockefeller connects with a body shot that sends Stanton's belly button to the back. Rockefeller pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rockefeller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Stanton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rockefeller was well out of range. Poor timing from Stanton. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rockefeller! But no joy. Rockefeller uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Stanton loads up on a big right hand but Rockefeller slips the punch. Rockefeller throws a jab when Stanton was well out of range. Rockefeller lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A telegraphed right hand from Stanton misses the target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stanton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rockefeller throws out the jab. Rockefeller looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Rockefeller jabs Stanton right on the nose. Stanton blinks but takes it well. Rockefeller moves out of range of the strikes. Rockefeller scores with the left hand. Stanton knows he should have avoided that one. #T1# Stanton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stanton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Stanton misses with a straight right. Rockefeller looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Rockefeller lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Stanton misses with a left hand and Rockefeller counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stanton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stanton misses with a straight right. A little jabbing left from Rockefeller on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Rockefeller feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stantons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Stanton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rockefeller.
Rockefeller throws a lazy right hand but Stanton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. As Rockefeller tries to get set, Stanton tries to push him back and clinch up but Rockefeller manages to avoid the attempt. Rockefeller throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Stanton takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rockefeller scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.#T2# Rockefeller throws a jab but it's blocked by Stanton. Stanton swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Stanton misses with a wild body shot. A countering left hand to the body from Rockefeller misses. Rockefeller throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stanton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rockefeller lands a jab to the head.
#ROC2#Stanton is rocked! A big right followed by a crushing left from Rockefeller knocks Stanton out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

#R1# Chaude lands a jab. A jab from Rockefeller misses. Chaude is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Rockefeller looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Chaude throws an off balance right hand
and Rockefeller counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A right-left combo lands from Rockefeller. #CUT2#It looks like Alain Chaude has been cut. Rockefeller lands with a right hand. Rockefeller scores with a decent looking hook. Chaude throws a jab when Rockefeller was well out of range. Chaude looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rockefeller has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chaude finds it's way round the side to connect with Rockefeller's head. Rockefeller smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chaude steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rockefeller.#CL# Chaude clinches up with Rockefeller and pushes him back against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Chaude. A shot in the inside from Chaude. Rockefeller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A nice right hand lands inside from Chaude. #BC# Chaude breaks from the clinch.
#T1# Rockefeller throws a body punch but Chaude moves out of range. An attempted straight right counter from Chaude misses the target.#CL# Chaude closes the distance and pushes Rockefeller back into the cage.#BC# Chaude manages to break the clinch.
Rockefeller throws a poor cross that misses
and Chaude counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#ROC#Rockefeller is rocked! Rockefeller throws a lazy right hand but Chaude sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Rockefeller is still on wobbly legs! Can Chaude finish him? Rockefeller walks straight into a right hand from Chaude - that's dropped him! Chaude jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rockefeller from any more punishment! Rockefeller complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Alain Chaude! Alain Chaude very nearly forgot to thank Wrestler Wayfare amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. |

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Habibi Dei unloads a knee to the mid-section. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Habibi Dei is stalling here.
Habibi Dei is trying to pull guard but Rockefeller turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Habibi Dei changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rockefeller fights it off and pushes away nicely.
#T1# Habibi Dei tries to close the distance and clinch but Rockefeller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Habibi Dei lands with a nice body punch. The fighters circling - Rockefeller throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rockefeller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Habibi Dei looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
John Keith Rockefeller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd cheers as Rockefeller lands an impressive looking overhand right. Habibi Dei doesn't seem phased though. Rockefeller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Habibi Dei takes one to the side of the head.
Habibi Dei walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Rockefeller pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rockefeller stalks Habibi Dei and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Habibi Dei's face. Habibi Dei staggers backwards, shaken.#CUT#It looks like Charles Flute Habibi Dei has been cut. John Keith Rockefeller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Habibi Dei shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rockefeller but Rockefeller pushes him off and we're back to square one. John Keith Rockefeller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Flute Habibi Dei. A jab from Rockefeller misses. #T2# Habibi Dei on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rockefeller closes the distance and lands a one-two.#CL2# Habibi Dei drives through and clinches with Rockefeller against the cage.
Habibi Dei has Rockefeller pushed against the cage. Rockefeller has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Rockefeller is trying to break free. Rockefeller wants to break the clinch but can't.
Come on Habibi Dei - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Rockefeller throws a looping overhand right but Habibi Dei ducks down to avoid it. And Habibi Dei tries to counter it with a takedown but Rockefeller pushes his down on his head and steps out. Rockefeller scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Rockefeller scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Habibi Dei moves out of range as Rockefeller strikes. Habibi Dei ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rockefeller lands with a cross. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rockefeller is pawing at Habibi Dei, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Habibi Dei's nose. Habibi Dei is badly hurt! Rockefeller pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Habibi Dei tries desperately to hold on but Rockefeller is relentless in his assault! As Habibi Dei receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Rockefeller away and this one is in the books!

Maldonado is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. The crowd cheers as Rockefeller lands an impressive looking overhand right. Maldonado doesn't seem phased though. Maldonado looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Good standup being displayed there by Maldonado as he connects with a hook. Maldonado lands with a thumping leg kick.
