Dinker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dinker takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Birdwhistle engages and cracks Dinker with a massive lead left hook - Dinker tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Birdwhistle is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 6 losses; Dan Dinker! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 3 losses; Nigel Greer! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Greer slaps away a takedown attempt from Dinker, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dinker leaves Greer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.#CL# Dinker drives through and clinches with Greer against the ropes.
#TD# Dinker gets control of Greer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dinker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Greer sitting in guard here, content to control. Dinker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Greer on the ground. It looks like Greer might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Now both of them are looking for submissions. Greer seems to have locked his on tight now - Dinker screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Greer, as he picks up the win!
