Backland fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wick avoids it really well and circles away.
Backland avoids the head kick by Wick.
Backland was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wick. Backland does a little dance to reset his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Backland or perhaps it was just good defense by Wick, which made it look bad. #CL#
Backland instigates a clinch.
Backland avoiding damage as Wick throws knees to the body.

Wick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wick misses with a few strikes there.
Backland moves in looking to clinch but Wick pushes him off.
Backland tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wick manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#TD2#

Backland looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Wick is defending well. Backland quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Wick has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Backland celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
