Werner looks to land a combination but Erthegg avoids it well. No joy there for Werner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Otami misses with a takedown attempt and Erthegg counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Otami looks to clinch and Erthegg counters with a nice uppercut. Otami shoots in looking for a takedown but Erthegg manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Otami's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#CL# Otami has Erthegg up against the cage in a clinch.

Erthegg gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Otami is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

After the fight, Shteve Erthegg was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |

Otami closes the distance looking to clinch and Erthegg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Otami's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Otami crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Erthegg punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Gage James really struggled with his weight cut for this fight. After coming in at 139.4, he had two hours to cut the additional weight. He was unable to do so and as a result, his fight with Shteve Erthegg was cancelled. |

Evans lands a body punch in the clinch. Erthegg takes a shot to the head. A nice right hand lands inside from Evans. Evans has a couple of punches blocked by Erthegg.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Evans as Erthegg tries to tie him up. Evans misses with some punches.

Evans tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Evans tries to work over Erthegg's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Erthegg lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Evans or not. Evans scores with a nice hook to the head. Erthegg taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Erthegg is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Evans. Evans swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Archie Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Erthegg lands with a hook. Evans tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Erthegg connects with a slap. and Erthegg counters with a stiff right hand. Erthegg takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Erthegg lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Evans out cold! Evans is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the ropes! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
