Sandoval can't hide his disappointment, as Kvaratskhelia celebrates the victory.

Batdorani doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sandoval pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A little jabbing left from Batdorani on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sandoval lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Batdorani takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Batdorani feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Batdorani is working to tighten his grip on Sandoval's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sandoval has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Batdorani is really squeezing tight and eventually Sandoval passes out! Batdorani breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Sandoval throws a jab but it's blocked by Cuevas.
Cuevas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sandoval.
It looked like Cuevas was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Cuevas blocks a jab.
Sandoval throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cuevas on the side of the head.
Cuevas shoots for a double leg takedown but Sandoval sprawls well. He's pushed Cuevas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sandoval looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Cuevas tries for a takedown but Sandoval sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Demetrius Cuevas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jordan Sandoval seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sandoval scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sandoval's corner calls for a 1-2. Sandoval obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Sandoval lands a nice shot that snaps Uchiha's head back.

Sandoval leaves Uchiha with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
