Pro tries to bum rush Sandman with a series of wild strikes but Sandman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sandman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pro.
We've been told by Sandman's head coaches at Punch Out Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pro scores with a jab. Sandman acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Sandman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tanaka to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tanaka decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sandman, up you get!
Tanaka shoots in but Sandman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tanaka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sandman's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tanaka under the eye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tanaka.

It looked like Sandman was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Tanaka.

Tanaka tries to clinch up but Sandman pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Tanaka to the mat! Tanaka covers up and Sandman unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
