Richards tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Strickland manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Richards sets himself, and Strickland steps forward looking for the clinch! Richards avoids it this time.#TD2#
Strickland closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Richards quickly recovers to half guard.
Richards has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Strickland is on him like a limpet, forcing Richards back against the cage.
Richards could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#BC2#

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
