Swirly feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cyr sprawling to the canvas! Cyr rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Swirly finish him?! #CUT2#It looks like Sebastian Cyr has been cut.
No joy there for Cyr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cyr moves out of range of the strikes.
Swirly cracks Cyr with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cyr tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Swirly pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cyr is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ed Swirly!
After the fight, Ed Swirly was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Swirly ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Solis's jaw. Solis's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Swirly does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

A less than humble Ed Swirly misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mcdonald.

Ed Swirly spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
