Lyons tries to bum rush Goldberg with a series of wild strikes but Goldberg uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jab from Lyons. Lyons throws a shot to the body.

Goldberg sprawls well initially but The Phantom persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Goldberg looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Goldberg manages to get to full guard.
Goldberg is pulling down on The Phantom's head to control his posture. #SUB2# Goldberg pushes a forearm under The Phantom's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, The Phantom is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

#CUT2#It looks like Sam Goldberg has been cut. Goldberg shoots in for a takedown but Killer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Killer tries to work over Goldberg's front leg with a kick but Goldberg checks it. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Killer. Goldberg shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Killer sprawls well. Killer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Goldberg gets slowly back to his feet. Killer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Killer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Killer wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Goldberg. That's going to take a lot out of him. Goldberg with a lazy takedown attempt and Killer counters with a left to the body. Goldberg on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

#R1# Bayano scores with a jab. Goldberg acknowledges it with a nod of the head. #CUT#It looks like Sam Goldberg has been cut. Bayano throws a looping overhand right but Goldberg ducks down to avoid it. Bayano paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Goldberg is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Goldberg darts in looking for a takedown but Bayano gets double underhooks and turns Goldberg into the cage. Bayano throws a jab but it's blocked by Goldberg. Bayano misses the shot to the body. Goldberg takes one to the side of the head.
Goldberg shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bayano counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. #TD2# Goldberg drives through with a takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB2# Goldberg drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Goldberg jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Goldberg is stalling in the full guard. #T1# Goldberg working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bayano's head. Goldberg is pushing down on Bayano's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bayano is fighting to maintain full guard but Goldberg has managed to sneak the leg through. Goldberg keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Goldberg should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Let's hope that Goldberg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. He'll look to pass Goldberg's guard now, I'm sure.#SUB# Goldberg is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sub is aware though and is defending well. Sub sitting in guard, not really doing much. Goldberg might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Goldberg is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sub's corner is telling him to maintain position. Sub tries to free his leg and advance position but Goldberg is retaining full guard. Goldberg could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Sub drops back looking for a leg! Goldberg is in trouble here! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sub was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!#SUB2# Sub is working to tighten his grip on Goldberg's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Goldberg has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sub is really squeezing tight and eventually Goldberg passes out! Sub breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

No, Nelson has managed to get both his arms back between Goldberg's legs - danger averted. Nelson pushes down on Goldberg's leg and manages to get into half guard. Goldberg is not content to let Nelson control the position.#T1# Goldberg tries to get to full guard but Nelson has control of the leg. #SUB# Nelson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Nelson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Goldberg! Goldberg remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Nelson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! A lull in the action here.
