Well Gerrard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Smack throws a right hand that Gerrard ducks under and follows up with a left that Gerrard also avoids with ease.
Gerrard thuds a left hand into Smack's body.
Smack throws a head kick that half lands.
Gerrard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smack tries to avoid it but Gerrard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smack to the ground. Smack escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Randall batters Gerrard with a massive right followed by a huge left! Gerrard is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Randall lands a final crushing right hand to drop Gerrard to the mat with a gruesome thud! Randall is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Cael Randall decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
