#R1# Clegane doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Hutchinson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Clegane closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Clegane definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Hutchinson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. A shot to the liver by Hutchinson. Beautiful body shot.#KD2# Oh, that's a big right hand from Hutchinson and Clegane goes tumbling to the canvas! Hutchinson follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. #ROC2#Clegane is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hutchinson works his way into side control. Oh Clegane is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Clegane is letting Hutchinson control him for a moment. A big shot lands for Hutchinson! That's hurt Clegane! Will he recover? Hutchinson fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

#R1##TD# Caceres feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Caceres wants to control from the top but Hutchinson keeps moving. Caceres not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Hutchinson keeping full guard, as Caceres tries to pass. Caceres stands and throws Hutchinson's legs to the side, diving into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hutchinson wants to control but Caceres postures up.#SUB# Caceres is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hutchinson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hutchinson tries to get back to half guard but can't.#T1# Hutchinson is not content to let Caceres control the position. #SUB# Caceres tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Caceres has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #SUB# Caceres tries for a kimura but Hutchinson is defending well. Hutchinson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Caceres wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Caceres trying to control the position but Hutchinson is working away. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.#SUB# Caceres working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. #SUB# Caceres has an Americana. Hutchinson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Caceres is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Caceres hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jose Caceres! A victorious Jose Caceres thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. |
