That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cael Randall.

Randall jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rey walks away with a smile on his face. Randall gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Rey tries to clinch up but Randall circles away and keeps his distance.

After the fight, Honore Nazaire Rey was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Randall batters Gerrard with a massive right followed by a huge left! Gerrard is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Randall lands a final crushing right hand to drop Gerrard to the mat with a gruesome thud! Randall is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
