Wills's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Wills receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Wills works on Ortega's body with a couple of short punches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wills leaning his opponent against the cage. Ortega tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
#T1# Ortega blocks a body shot from Wills. Ortega's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Ortega goes for a takedown attempt but Wills pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Li slaps away a takedown attempt from Ortega, before circling back to the center of the mat. Li attempts a counter takedown but Ortega avoids it well and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ortega misses with a takedown #TD# and Li counters with a takedown into side control. #T1# Ortega parries the strikes from Li easily there. Li is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ortega to escape.
Ortega is trying to get back to half guard. The strikes coming from Li are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Li lands an elbow. Ortega dodges the ground and pound from Li. Ortega throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Ortega tries to strike but it doesn't land. Ortega has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Li scores with a couple of short elbows. Ortega takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Killer wants to land a leg kick but Ortega is out of range. Legend is looking to defend but Ortega has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Legend! Ortega pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Legend taps out and this one is all over!
