Shark trying to control from half guard but Jackson is working away. #SUB2# Shark looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jackson is looking to improve his position.
#T1# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Shark is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Jackson trying to hold on to Shark's head to control him but Shark postures up.

Shark looks winded! Shark can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jackson controls the pace. Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. Shark can't fight it off and eventually Jackson manages to take the fight to the floor. Shark looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jackson drops an elbow to the side of Shark's head. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shark can do anything to dispel that myth. Jackson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jackson lands strikes from half guard. Shark is breathing heavily. Shark wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Shark is hurt! He's hurt bad - Jackson fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Shark from any more punishment! Congratulations to Jackson! Great finish!

#R1# Jackson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Donnelly shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Donnelly's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jackson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Donnelly. Jackson's coach down at Rabid Dog was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jackson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Donnelly jabbing away but nothing is landing. #TD2# Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. An elbow from Jackson crashes against the mat.
Donnelly tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jackson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Donnelly makes his way to full guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Donnelly tries to land a sweep but no joy. Donnelly is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Hybrid MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Donnelly lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR##T3# Donnelly wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Donnelly won't allow Jackson to sweep him here. #SUB# Donnelly thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Donnelly looking to pass the guard. Donnelly is working hard here to advance position. Donnelly slips nicely into half guard. Donnelly looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. #T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Donnelly is working away from the top position though. Jackson is in trouble now - Donnelly has advanced to mount! Jackson tries to lock up and control but Donnelly gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Donnelly takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Donnelly avoids the attempt from Jackson to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Donnelly thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. #TD2# Jackson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Donnelly regains guard immediately. Donnelly controls Jackson momentarily but Jackson frees himself. Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Donnelly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Jackson is sitting in close to Donnelly's body. Donnelly has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jackson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jackson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Donnelly.

#R1# Randolph throws a lazy head kick #CL# and Jackson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jackson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Randolph pulls him back up using the underhooks. Randolph drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jackson pulls his leg out and moves away.
#TD# Jackson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jackson is nestled in close to Randolph, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Randolph should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Jackson lands with a punch from half guard. Jackson working the head and body with strikes. Jackson lands with a punch from half guard. Jackson winds up and cracks Randolph with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Jackson drops an elbow to the side of Randolph's head. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jackson lands a nice short elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.#SUB# Jackson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. #T1# Jackson passes to side control. Randolph is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Jackson scoring with punches from side control. The referee asks Jackson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jackson prefers to stall for the moment though. You can see the frustration on Randolph's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Randolph is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jackson scoring with punches from side control. Jackson cracks Randolph with a big elbow. Randolph really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Randolph wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is dominant here and he's now got Randolph's back!#T2# Randolph wants to control his opponent's hands but Jackson gets his hands free. Randolph takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Jackson. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Randolph up.
Randolph tries to escape but Jackson has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Jackson has Randolph flattened out and is raining down punches. Jackson lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Randolph.
Jackson lands a shot to the body. #SUB# Jackson has his arm under Randolph's chin here. Game over son! Jackson squeezes tightly and Randolph is forced to tap out!
