Richman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ray is out of range. Richman sets himself, and Ray steps forward looking for the clinch! Richman avoids it this time. Richman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Richman tries to bum rush Ray with a series of wild strikes but Ray uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Richman lands with a slapping head kick. Ray on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Richman throws a leg kick which misses Ray's front leg but catches the back leg as Ray tries to avoid it. Richman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ray. Richman moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Richman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.#T1# No joy there for Richman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ray is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Richman to keep the fight standing. Ray jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Richman walks away with a smile on his face. Ray gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ray crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Richman - the referee stops the clock and Ray gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Richman. Ray manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Ray takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Richman scores with a head kick. Lopes tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Richman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Richman scores with a jab. Lopes acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Lopes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
An inside leg kick lands from Richman. A left lands for Lopes. Lopes blocks a low kick nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Richman nods at Sanders to acknowledge the strikes. Richman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sanders. Richman motions for Sanders to come forward. Richman throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Nice body punch from Richman. Richman tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sanders is able to avoid easily. Richman throws a sloppy head kick and Sanders moves out of range easily. #CL2# Sanders rushes Richman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#T2##BC2# Sanders breaks the clinch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sanders checks a leg kick. Sanders checks the leg kick. Richman will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sanders's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Richman pushes Sanders away with a front kick. Sanders takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Richard Richman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marshall Sanders. Sanders takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sanders shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Richman as he jumps to the side. Richman swings away with a leg kick that misses. Richman lands with a thumping leg kick.

Richman listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Good exchange - Richman coming out on top. A punch lands to the side of Sanders 's head but he takes it in his stride. Richman looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A thudding body kick lands there by Richman!

He can't get it on this occasion though.#T4# Richman tries to throw a body punch but Sanders avoids it by throwing Richman back against the cage. #BC2# Sanders pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Richman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sanders looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Richman is fending him off so far but Sanders persists. Nope, Richman circles away and we're back to standing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sanders moves out of range of the leg kick from Richman. Richman throws a leg kick which misses Sanders's front leg but catches the back leg as Sanders tries to avoid it. Richard Richman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Richman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sanders is out of range. Richman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sanders's head. Sanders slips under a jab. Sanders stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Richman. Sanders fails with a takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Richard Richman showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Richman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
