Mejia throws an overhand right that lands on Wong's shoulder, as Wong tries to avoid the shot. Nice defenses there by Wong.#CL2# Mejia gets tackled into the cage by Wong. Wong maintains the clinch. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#CUT2#It looks like Duan Tou Fa has been cut. Mejia closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Tou Fa out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

#R1# Mejia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Mejia misses with a hook. Smealianenko wants to land a leg kick but Mejia is out of range. Mejia connects with a crisp jab. Smealianenko connects with a right hand. Mejia shakes it off. Mejia throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smealianenko sees it coming and avoids it easily. Smealianenko tries to bum rush Mejia with a series of wild strikes but Mejia uses good footwork to avoid the assault. It seemed like Mejia was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Smealianenko throws a jab but it's blocked by Mejia. Mejia misses with a looping left. Mejia throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Smealianenko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mejia tries a head kick but it misses.

#R1# Barton tries to clinch but Mejia moves out of range. Mejia was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Barton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mejia paws at him with a jab and circles away. James Barton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barton moves in looking to clinch but Mejia pushes him off.#CL2# Barton clinches up with Mejia and pushes him back against the cage. Mejia tries to break the clinch but Barton is controlling the position. Mejia wants to break the clinch but can't.

Barton is trying to drag Mejia to the mat but Mejia just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
