#R1# Cuevas scoring well with a low kick there.
Cuevas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bryant thinks about the counter body kick. Cuevas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bryant swivels and escapes. A combination from Cuevas does no damage. #KD2# Bryant lands a big uppercut and Cuevas crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cuevas looks OK. Bryant waves Cuevas back to his feet!#CUT2#It looks like Demetrius Cuevas has been cut. Cuevas looks to clinch and Bryant counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Cuevas badly! Bryant follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Cuevas out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Bryant finished him against the ropes.

#R1# Scub bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cuevas's head backwards. Cuevas is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Scub just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Cuevas has gone limp and this one is over!

#R1# Sandoval throws a jab but it's blocked by Cuevas. Cuevas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sandoval. It looked like Cuevas was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Cuevas blocks a jab. Sandoval throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cuevas on the side of the head. Cuevas shoots for a double leg takedown but Sandoval sprawls well. He's pushed Cuevas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sandoval looks like he wants to counter punch here. Cuevas tries for a takedown but Sandoval sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Cuevas fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Demetrius Cuevas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sandoval gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cuevas. Jordan Sandoval seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cuevas with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sandoval misses the jab. Cuevas dodges the punch combination from Sandoval.
Sandoval is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cuevas. Sandoval throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.#T1# A shot to the liver by Sandoval. Beautiful body shot. Cuevas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sandoval looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Sandoval lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Sandoval throws the left hand but Cuevas avoids the punch easily. Cuevas slips under a jab from Sandoval. Cuevas shoots and misses #KD2# and Sandoval counters with a crisp right hand that drops Cuevas! Sandoval lets Cuevas back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#CUT2#It looks like Demetrius Cuevas has been cut. Sandoval should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sandoval fakes the body blow, causing Cuevas to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Cuevas goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
