#R1# Brigand rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Li moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Li feints the counter takedown. Brigand definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Brigand tries to close the distance and clinch but Li swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Li changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Brigand darts in trying to clinch#TD2# and Li counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Brigand tries to kick Li off in order to stand up. Li Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Brigand is not content to let Li control the position. Brigand might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li lands some shots froms side control. Li is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#T1# Li works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Brigand regains half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Brigand is looking for a sweep. Li is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Brigand trying to control from the bottom.
Li has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Li lands strikes from half guard. Li is nestled in close to Brigand, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Li seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. That one landed with a sickening thud - Brigand is out cold and this one is all over! Li climbs onto the ropes to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Aiguo Li! A relieved looking Aiguo Li thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |

#R1##CL# Brigand moves into range and clinches up with Cannister. Cannister is working Brigand over against the cage. Brigand using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cannister has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Brigand is looking to break free of the clinch but Cannister has double underhooks. Brigand misses with the head strike.
#BC2# Cannister breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Brigand checks the leg kick. Brigand throws a low kick but it's checked well by Cannister. A head kick misses from Cannister. #CL# Brigand gets a clinch. Brigand misses with a short punch on the inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A frustrated look appears on Brigand's face as he tries to break the clinch. Cannister stalling the fight.
Cannister tries to break the clinch but Brigand is controlling the position. Brigand doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Cannister misses with a shot to the kidneys.
#T1##BC2# Cannister pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cannister misses with a low kick as Brigand jumps back. Brigand throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Brigand tries to clinch up. Cannister misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brigand connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cannister's hands.#CL# Brigand clinches. Stalling in the clinch from Cannister.
#BC# Brigand breaks from the clinch.
Brigand blocks a low kick nicely. Cannister tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Brigand is able to avoid easily. Brigand tries to clinch but Cannister is having none of it. Cannister throws a half hearted mid kick. Cannister tries to clinch there but Brigand circles away.

#CL2# Brigand gets tackled into the cage by Cannister. Cannister maintains the clinch. #BC# Brigand breaks the clinch.
Brigand fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cannister manages to avoid it. Brigand keeps the fight on the outside. Brigand appears to be looking for a big counter. Cannister throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.#CL# Brigand drives through and clinches with Cannister against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brigand misses with a hook to the ribs.
Brigand's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Cannister controlling the action here for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Darthos Brigand. I think Brigand has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
