#R1# Petrov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trausch pinned against the cage. Trausch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Petrov tries for a takedown but Trausch circles away easily enabling Trausch to counter with a crisp jab. Petrov darts in looking for a takedown but Trausch gets double underhooks and turns Petrov into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dimitri Petrov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trausch is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Petrov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Trausch pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petrov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Trausch. Dimitri Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Petrov defending well as Trausch loads up on a big left hand. A big left from Trausch misses. Trausch stuffs the takedown. Trausch misses with an uppercut. Petrov saw that one coming. Petrov shoots in for a takedown but Trausch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Petrov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Trausch let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Trausch pushing out the jab but it's not landing. #T2# Petrov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Trausch swivels and escapes. Petrov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Trausch. Trausch let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Trausch connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Petrov momentarily.

Trausch has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Petrov is landing a low percentage of strikes. Petrov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Trausch counters with a nice uppercut. Trausch takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.#ROC2#Petrov is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Trausch plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Petrov swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Petrov face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Trausch misses with a hook
and Surovij counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Trausch swings for the body but Surovij moves out of range.
Surovij throws a big counter combination but Trausch scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Surovij slips under a jab from Trausch. Trausch throws a jab but it's blocked by Surovij. Surovij wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Fabrice Trausch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trausch misses with a lunging right hand
#TD2# and Rivera decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Trausch's guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Trausch manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Rivera is looking for a takedown. Rivera goes for a takedown attempt but Trausch pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Trausch fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Trausch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. And Rivera tries to counter it with a takedown but Trausch pushes his down on his head and steps out. Trausch connects with a body shot that sends Rivera's belly button to the back.#T1# Rivera ducks under a wild hook from Trausch. Rivera changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Trausch throws the left hand but Rivera avoids the punch easily. Rivera is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Rivera slips a jab from Trausch. Trausch scores with a nice strike. Trausch misses with a shot to the body #TD2# and Rivera decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Trausch's guard. Trausch is looking to stand up but Rivera isn't so interested in that idea. Rivera looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Trausch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rivera moves away. Trausch lands a slapping body shot.

We've been informed that Rivera has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rivera takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Trausch misses the body punch #TD2# and Rivera counters with a nice double leg into side control. Trausch won't be happy with that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rivera works to advance to full mount. Trausch defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. #T1# Trausch is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Fabrice Trausch very nearly forgot to thank Bloodbath MMA Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Trausch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Trausch throws a shot from downtown. Sherman moves away and avoids it. Trausch connects with a crisp jab. Trausch fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sherman on the side of the head. Trausch lands a glancing blow to the side of Sherman's head. Sherman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trausch sprawls well. Trausch wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sherman gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sherman darts in looking for a takedown but Trausch gets double underhooks and turns Sherman into the cage. Fabrice Trausch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xavier Sherman. Trausch keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Trausch throws a good cross that connects.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Sherman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #T2# Trausch wants to stand and escape but Sherman is having none of it. Trausch is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sherman dives into side control.

Johnson backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Trausch's temple! It sends Trausch violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Johnson celebrates and the doctors try to help Trausch!
