#R1# Jab by Bacon. A head kick misses from Ford. Bacon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Chris Bacon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bacon misses with a hook. Ford ducked under it nicely. Bacon misses with a wild body shot. Bacon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ford blocks a jab. Ford steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bacon. Ford throws a quick inside leg kick. Bacon misses with a hook
and Ford counters with a head kick. Bacon throws a series of punches but Ford moves out of range. Bacon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ford. Ford wants to counter the offense by Bacon and move into the clinch position. Bacon jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ford keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bacon. Bacon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Bacon misses with a lunging right hand
and Ford counters with a slapping leg kick. Ford takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.#T1# Ford looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bacon looks to land a left hand but Ford moved out of range nicely. Bacon throws a jab but it's blocked by Ford. Bacon sets himself, and Ford steps forward looking for the clinch! Bacon avoids it this time. A looping hook to the body misses from Ford. Bacon does a little dance to reset his feet. Bacon swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Bacon misses with an uppercut
and Ford cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#ROC2#Bacon is rocked! Ford ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Bacon's jaw. Bacon's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Ford does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ed Ford! After winning the bout, Ed Ford thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. |

Hatton ducks under a wild hook from Bacon. Hatton smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Bacon scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.#CL# Hatton takes the fight into the clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Bacon wants to get back to striking at distance but Hatton won't allow it.
Hatton prevents Bacon from breaking the clinch.#BC# Hatton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bacon has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.#TD# Hatton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hatton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hatton moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Hatton throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.#T1# Hatton trying to control the position but Bacon is working away. Bacon tries to bench press Hatton off him but Hatton keeps the position. Bacon prevents Hatton from improving position. Bacon is trying to control Hatton's posture but Hatton avoids it. Hatton is looking to take a break and control but Bacon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hatton sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bacon is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bacon is looking for a sweep. Bacon manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Bacon keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bacon prevents Hatton from improving his position. Bacon wants to take a breather but Hatton is having none of it. Bacon tries to pass to full mount but Hatton defends it. Bacon controlling the action here. #T3# Hatton is in trouble now - Bacon has advanced to mount! Hatton is trying to reverse the position but instead Bacon has taken his back - oops! Hatton is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Hatton is trying to get back to his feet but Bacon has full control of the position and if anything, Hatton has just worked his way into a worse spot. Bacon controlling the position well here. Hatton rolled but Bacon kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
I really don't envy Hatton right now.

#BC# Hatton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A swing and a miss from Bacon. Hatton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A looping hook to the body misses from Bacon. Hatton does a little dance to reset his feet.#CL# Hatton clinches. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hatton takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hatton has Bacon pressed against the cage, preventing Bacon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.#BC# Hatton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#CL# Hatton closes the distance and pushes Bacon back into the cage. Bacon wants to break the clinch but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatton is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bacon pulls him back up using the underhooks. Hatton fails to pull guard.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #T3# Hatton is positioning himself to get back to half guard. This is the final round!#R3# Hatton dives in for a single leg takedown but Bacon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hatton shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Hatton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bacon. Chris Bacon seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bacon lands a jab to Hatton's midsection.#T3##CL# Hatton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hatton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bacon pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hatton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bacon looks to score with a jab to the body but Hatton is just out of range. Hatton throws a head kick that misses. Bacon throws a lazy uppercut
#TD# and Hatton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hatton tries to free his leg and advance position but Bacon is retaining full guard. Hatton is looking to pass into half guard but Bacon pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bacon is in guard.#REVB# Hatton looking for a sweep. Not yet Hatton, not yet. Bacon engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #T4# Hatton tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hatton wants to stand but Bacon is controlling the position. Bacon passes Hatton's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Chris Bacon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Farias jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nice uppercut lands for Bacon. That snapped Farias's head back.
Left hook, right uppercut from Bacon. Bacon lands a nice looking body shot.
Nice shot lands for Bacon. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Farias is defended easily by Bacon. Bacon digs a good hook to Farias's body.
Bacon seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Farias shoots in looking for a takedown but Bacon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Farias's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bacon lands with a right hand. Bacon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Farias on the side of the head. #ROC#Farias is rocked!#TD2# Farias looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Farias is still in real trouble! Can Bacon finish him? Farias winds up and cracks Bacon with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bacon preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Farias seems to have recovered his senses. Bacon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Farias's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Farias's back!#T1# Bacon trying to control. Farias just trying to survive but Bacon is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Bacon trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Farias doesn't escape. Brakes tries to close the distance and clinch but Bacon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL2# Brakes has closed the distance and engaged Bacon in a clinch.
Bacon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bacon prevents the takedown attempt.
Bacon working some nice short punches in the clinch. Bacon lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Bacon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bacon scores with a shot to the side of Brakes's head. #ROC#Brakes is rocked!#TD2# Brakes is trying to trip Bacon. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Brakes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bacon.

Bacon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. A short right from Bacon. Bacon presses Brakes against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Bacon unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Brakes! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Bacon is unloading with more strikes now! Brakes drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Lee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Bacon just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lee shoots in looking for a takedown but Bacon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lee scores with a jab to the body. Bacon throws a shot from downtown. Lee moves away and avoids it. Bacon throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Bacon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The fighters circling - Bacon throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bacon misses with a body shot.

Chris Bacon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim Lee. Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Bacon, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Bacon against the ropes but Bacon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bacon was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee. Bacon swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A combination from Bacon does no damage. #TD2# Lee fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bacon to the ground. Lee is now in Bacon's guard. Lee won't allow Bacon to get back to his feet. #SUB# Bacon has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lee doesn't defend quickly enough and Bacon has managed to lock this one up! Can Lee escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bacon on a fantastic submission victory.
