Taylor had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Branch defends it easily.

Branch fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kahnt stuffs the takedown.
Kahnt is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kahnt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kahnt fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Branch looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Branch shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kahnt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Werner Kahnt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Branch.

Kahnt's jab looks to have found its range, popping Branch under the eye.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kahnt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Branchs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Branch walks straight into a right hand from Kahnt - that's dropped him! Kahnt jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Branch from any more punishment! Branch complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Branch decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Branch winds up and cracks Merry with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Merry tries to roll over but Branch keeps him under control.
