#R1##TD# Li drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Li throws a big elbow that misses. Sandman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Li's guard. #REVB# Li controlling the position. Li trying to control the position.
Sandman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Li is keeping the position for now. Li really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Li is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Sandman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sandman stopping the sweep attempt from Li. Sandman stays in close to Li's body and controls the position. Sandman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.#T1# Sandman is fighting to break Li's control of his arms but Li is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Li wants to improve his position but instead Sandman has moved into half guard.

Sandman is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Li will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Sandman working away. Sandman working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Li struggling a bit here. Sandman taking a breather here. Sandman's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T2# Li tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sandman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Li is letting Sandman control him for a moment. Li is trying to control Sandman's posture but Sandman avoids it. A lull in the action here as Sandman stalls from top position. Li can't do much from the bottom here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Li struggling a bit here. Li is trying to improve his position. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #T3# Li struggling a bit here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Li tries to get out of the position. Li can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sandman in side control, just content to control the action for now. Sandman just content to control the position. #T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sandman working away. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Li is trying to escape the position but Sandman is controlling the position. Li wants to control but Sandman postures up. Li is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sandman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Sandman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Li keeps working. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mr Sandman dominated that round. That's time! Li's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.#R2# Sandman throws a shot to the body.
Li slips under a jab. Li shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sandman but Sandman pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sandman leaves Li with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Li on the wrong end of a nice jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sandman pinned against the cage. Sandman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zixin Li. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice defenses there by Li.#T1# Li shoots in looking for a takedown but Sandman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Li's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#KD2# Sandman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Li sprawling to the canvas! Li rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sandman finish him?!
#ROC2#Li is rocked! Li walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Li limp body while Sandman jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
