Li fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dickson sprawls well initially but Li persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Dickson tries to get to full guard but Li has control of the leg.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Li lands a nice short elbow.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Li in particular looking to stall.
Li working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Dickson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
