Nice takedown defense from Li. No joy for Fletcher on that attempt. Fletcher tries to clinch but Li moves out of range. Jaron Fletcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Li fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fletcher sprawls well initially but Li persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Li scoring with strikes to the body and head. Fletcher has hold of Li's hands but Li slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fletcher avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Li. Fletcher keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fletcher trying to control from the bottom.
Li lands with a punch from half guard. Li lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Li is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Li landing strikes, looking to finish! #ROC#Fletcher is rocked! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fletcher can do anything to dispel that myth. Li softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Fletcher is out cold! Li jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

#R1##TD# Li fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dickson sprawls well initially but Li persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Li there. Dickson tries to get to full guard but Li has control of the leg. Li controlling the action here. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Li lands a nice short elbow. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Li in particular looking to stall. Li working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dickson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Still in half guard, Li seems content to control. Dickson trying to hold on to Li's head to control him but Li postures up.
Well, if Li is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
