Derick Brandt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandt throws a looping overhand right but Kemper ducks down to avoid it.
Brandt throws a series of punches but Kemper avoids them all with ease.
Brandt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Brandt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kemper moves away.

and Kemper counters with a thumping low kick.

and Kemper counters with a crisp right hand that drops Brandt! Kemper lets Brandt back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Kemper finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Brandt has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Kemper fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jumper on the side of the head.
Jumper throws a combination that misses
and Kemper counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jumper wants to clinch but Kemper slips to the side
and Jumper takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #CUT#It looks like Walter Jumper has been cut.
Jumper closes the distance looking to clinch #KD#
and Kemper counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jumper! Kemper lets Jumper back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC#Jumper is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kemper throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tama sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kemper cracks Tama with a right hand to the side of the head.#CUT#It looks like Tomo Tama has been cut.
Tama tries to clinch but Kemper moves out of range.
Kemper connects with a body shot that sends Tama's belly button to the back.
Tama gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Tama fails with the takedown.
Tama avoids the head kick by Kemper.
Tama steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Kemper.
Kemper shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tama eats them both and turns towards Kemper to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

BOOM! Kemper lands a beautiful left hook that drops Tama. Tama tries to recover but Kemper is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Tama lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
