Thomas walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Salinas fails in his attempt to clinch. Salinas looks to clinch and Thomas counters with an inside leg kick. Salinas slaps away a takedown attempt from Thomas, before circling back to the center of the mat. Thomas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Barrett Salinas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Thomas. Thomas tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Salinas defends well and Thomas ends up having to push Salinas into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Salinas scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. #CUT#It looks like Anthony Thomas has been cut. Thomas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Salinas.

Baby missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Baby in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Salinas avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Baby stands up over Salinas, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Baby trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Baby is pushing down on Salinas's leg trying to pass to half guard. Salinas is fighting to maintain full guard but Baby has managed to sneak the leg through.#ES2# Salinas manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet.
