Chimaev circles away from the clinch attempt and Chimaev counters with a lovely straight right hand!#CL2# Battle tries to keep at a distance but Chimaev has taken the fight into the clinch. Battle trying to stall but Chimaev improves his position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck for Chimaev with that takedown attempt. Battle half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. No joy there for Chimaev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Battle appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Chimaev shoots for a double leg takedown but Battle sprawls well. He's pushed Chimaev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Battle tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Chimaev cranks the arm and Battle screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Battle, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Battle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from James - the referee stops the clock and Battle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says James. Battle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. James scores with a crisp jab that stopped Battle in his tracks. Battle looks for the body kick but James saw that one coming. James misses with a leg kick. Battle fails in his attempt to clinch. A nice leg kick from James, right into the meat of the thigh.
James lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. King James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good leg kick by James. James stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and James wants it to stay on the feet. Battle tries to clinch but James is having none of it. A nice leg kick lands there from James. And that's the end of the fight! King James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well James has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
