Hoover is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Johnson off. It looks like it's working - Johnson slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Hoover displaying calm under pressure there.

Hoover throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Johnson's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Hoover dives in looking to finish as Johnson flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Hoover's strikes! Hoover is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Johnson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Johnson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
