Maximus is trying to break the clinch but Booth has him pressed against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Booth.
Booth works on Maximus's body with a couple of short punches.
Booth lands a shoulder strike.
Maximus is looking to break free of the clinch but Booth has double underhooks. #BC2#
Booth breaks the clinch.
Maximus misses the body punch
and Booth counters with a nice uppercut.
Booth lands a right hook to the body.
Booth dips to his left and cracks Maximus with an uppercut!#ROC2#Maximus is rocked!
Maximus is aggressively charging in as Booth backs up avoiding any damage. Booth tosses out a jab and Maximus runs right into it face first! Maximus is out cold! Booth dropped down on all fours and is barking in Maximus's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Broderick Booth!
Our winner, Broderick Booth, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Petrov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been informed that Petrov has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
