#R1##CL# Virtanen instigates a clinch. Notts goes for a takedown in the clinch but Virtanen prevents it.
#TD# Virtanen jumps into guard, dragging Notts to the mat.
Virtanen keeping moving, preventing Notts from controlling successfully. #SU2# Notts stands and steps away. Virtanen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Notts tries for a takedown but Virtanen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Notts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Harri Virtanen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darnell Notts. Notts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Virtanen's waist but Virtanen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Notts off to one side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL2# Notts has taken the fight to the clinch.
Notts tries to pull guard but Virtanen won't allow it.

Virtanen advances to mount. Notts really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Notts really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Virtanen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Notts can't escape the position.
Notts is still trying to improve position. Virtanen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Notts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Virtanen has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Notts content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Notts trying to control the action but Virtanen is working from the bottom. Virtanen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1# Notts working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Virtanen's thigh. Virtanen counters though and makes it back to full guard. #SUB2# Notts drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Virtanen dives on top into guard.#REVR# Notts looking to control but Virtanen passes into half guard.

#T2##SUB# Virtanen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Notts manages to avoid the submission attempt. Virtanen landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Virtanen trying to control the action but Notts is working from the bottom. Notts gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Virtanen connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
#T3##SUB# Notts is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Virtanen locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Notts is forced to tap!

#R1##CL2# Beair closes the distance and clinches. Beair looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD# Virtanen successfully pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Virtanen is on top in guard.
#REVR# Virtanen content to stall in guard here. #SUB# Virtanen drops back looking for a leg! Beair is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Beair manages to kick Virtanen off! Virtanen jumps back into Beair's guard. Virtanen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU# Virtanen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #T1# Beair is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Virtanen. Left hook, right uppercut from Virtanen. #CL# Virtanen gets in close and instigates a clinch. #BC# Virtanen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Virtanen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. #SUB# Virtanen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
#T2# Virtanen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Virtanen looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Beair is trying to get back to full guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Beair really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Virtanen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Virtanen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#SUB# Virtanen is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Beair is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

#R1# Guy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Virtanen. #CL# Virtanen moves into the clinch.#TD# Virtanen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Guy has a hand on Virtanen's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Virtanen takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Guy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Virtanen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guy is looking to escape. Guy tries to hold on but Virtanen pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guy regains half guard. Guy manages to get to full guard.
Virtanen being controlled here momentarily. #T1##SUB2# Guy has his foot on Virtanen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Virtanen works his way back into a safe position though. Virtanen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Guy struggling a bit here. Guy manages to get back to half guard. Guy trying to hold on to Virtanen's head to control him but Virtanen postures up.
Virtanen misses with a head shot. Guy uses the momentum to regain guard. #SUB2# Virtanen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Guy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Virtanen is looking to defend but Guy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Virtanen! Guy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Virtanen taps out and this one is all over!
