Bond throws a lazy right hand but Ertman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ertman takes a swing at Bond's ribcage but misses. Bond thinks about the counter body kick. Bond throws a series of punches but Ertman moves out of range. Ertman was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Ertman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Bond steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ertman. Bond changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ertman swats away the attempt to clinch by Bond. An attempted straight right counter from Ertman misses the target. Ertman misses the shot to the body. Ertman sets himself, and Bond steps forward looking for the clinch! Ertman avoids it this time.#T1# Ertman misses with a body shot.

Bond will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kataski throwing strikes from guard but Bond blocks nicely. Kataski with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kataski content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Bond keeping full guard, as Kataski tries to pass. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bond keeping moving, preventing Valverde from controlling successfully.
