Dowd decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Rangathan has one foot on Dowd's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Rangathan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dowd paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rangathan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dowd as he avoids it easily.

Possibly an early stoppage but Rangathan doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Waylon Dowd spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
