Ax closes the distance and clinches up with Orshawl, looking for a takedown. Ax pushes Orshawl against the cage but Orshawl circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice defenses there by Ax.

Orshawl drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ax is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Orshawl wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Ax's closed guard. He's half up but Ax has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Ax pivots and extends the arm, Orshawl falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Ax! Well done that man!

After the fight, Asher Ax was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
