#R1##TD2# Curtis throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ciancosi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Curtis is in Ciancosi's guard. Curtis showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Curtis looking to pass the guard. Ciancosi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Curtis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Curtis works over Ciancosi with some ground and pound from guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ciancosi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ciancosi is looking to stand back up but Curtis counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ciancosi. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Curtis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ciancosi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Curtis on the ground.#T1# Ciancosi is in all sorts of trouble here.
Curtis is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ciancosi can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Curtis won't let Ciancosi get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Curtis controlling from mount. A nice elbow there by Curtis. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Curtis working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Ciancosi wants to control but Curtis is having none of it.#T2##SUB2# Curtis is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Curtis!

#R1# Havener throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #TD2# Ciancosi gets a takedown into half guard.
Havener kicks Ciancosi off and gets back to his feet. Ciancosi tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Havener counters with a nice uppercut. #CUT#It looks like Damon Ciancosi has been cut. Ciancosi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Havener counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Havener seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ciancosi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Havener to score with a decent uppercut.#T1# Nice sprawl there from Havener as Ciancosi shoots in. Ciancosi with a lazy takedown attempt and Havener counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Andrew Havener has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damon Ciancosi. Ciancosi tries for a takedown but Havener circles away easily and Havener counters with a huge right that knocks Ciancosi out cold! Havener is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
