Roder missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Toto can do anything to dispel that myth. Roder scoring with strikes to the body and head. Roder takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Nice strikes from Roder there. Toto on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. #R1##TD# Scott looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Scott looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Roder is trying to control but can't.
Nice strikes from Scott there. Roder is refusing to be controlled, as Scott sits in half guard. Roder trying to hold on to Scott's head to control him but Scott postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roder gets back to full guard.
