Buckley throws a series of punches but Voluspa moves out of range. Buckley throws a hook but Voluspa blocks it. Buckley misses with a double jab.
#TD2# Voluspa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Buckley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Voluspa is in Buckley's guard. Voluspa distracts Buckley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.#CUT2#It looks like Shavkat Buckley has been cut. Voluspa lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Buckley is looking to stand up but Voluspa isn't so interested in that idea. Buckley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Voluspa on the ground. Voluspa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Buckley's guard. Voluspa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. #ROC2#Buckley is rocked! Voluspa lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Buckley! More strikes land and this one is all over! Voluspa jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

It seemed like Buckley was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.#CL# Hammerov closes the distance and clinches. Buckley is trying to break the clinch but Hammerov is controlling him. Buckley wants to get back to striking at distance but Hammerov won't allow it.
Hammerov digs a right hand into Buckley's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Buckley's gas tank. Hammerov is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Buckley is trying to force a seperation but Hammerov has the dominant position. Hammerov prevents Buckley from breaking the clinch. Buckley on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC2# Buckley manages to break the clinch.
Hammerov misses with an uppercut. Hammerov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Buckley checks it well. Hammerov throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Buckley counters with a left and a right that stings Hammerov. #CL# Hammerov pushes Buckley up against the cage in a clinch.#T1##BC# Hammerov breaks from the clinch.
#CL# Hammerov rushes Buckley and presses him up against the cage. Buckley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hammerov has him pressed against the cage. Hammerov with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Hammerov has Buckley pressed against the cage, preventing Buckley from circling away and getting back to striking at range.#TD# Hammerov successfully pulls guard.
Hammerov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hammerov holds on and takes a little breather. Buckley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. #T2# Buckley stopping the sweep attempt from Hammerov. Hammerov lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Hammerov passes Buckley's left leg - he's now in half guard. Buckley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hammerov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Buckley is trying to stand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.#SUB# Hammerov is trying to work for a kimura but Buckley is defending well.
Hammerov is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Buckley is staying active underneath Hammerov, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hammerov missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buckley pushes Hammerov off but Hammerov dives into side control.
#SUB# Hammerov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Hammerov prevents Buckley from escaping the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Arkadiy Hammerov dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.#R2# Hammerov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Hammerov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Buckley paws at him with a jab and circles away. Buckley throws out a counter right but Hammerov avoids it with no problem. Buckley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hammerov momentarily.
Arkadiy Hammerov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A jab from Buckley finds it's way through Hammerov's defenses. Hammerov throws a nice looking combination but Buckley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hammerov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Buckley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hammerov looks to clinch and Buckley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hammerov tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Buckley counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Decent striking displayed by Buckley there. Hammerov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Buckley moves away. Shavkat Buckley seems to be getting the better of the standup. Buckley scores with a jab to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hammerov looks to clinch and Buckley counters with a three punch combo that has Hammerov backing up. Hammerov nods at Buckley to acknowledge the strikes. A head kick misses from Hammerov. #T1# Buckley takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Buckley's corner calls for a 1-2. Buckley obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Arkadiy Hammerov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hammerov tries to clinch but Buckley moves away and Buckley counters with a nice body shot. Buckley lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Buckley keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
#ROC2#Hammerov is rocked! Buckley cracks Hammerov with a left hook right on the temple and Hammerov goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Buckley lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Hammerov is OK!
