Hoozki is looking to clinch but Rose is avoiding it.
Hoozki shoots in but Rose avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hoozki closes the distance and clinches up with Rose, looking for a takedown. Hoozki pushes Rose against the cage but Rose circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#TD#
Rose feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rose controls from within his opponent's guard.
Rose's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Hoozki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rose. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
