Gap might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jacobs scoring with some ground and pound. Gap is trying to control the position from the bottom.
#SUB# Gap is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jacobs sitting in guard here, content to control. #SUB2# Jacobs is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #SUB# Gap has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jacobs can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# Gap's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gap duly obliges. The Phantom misses with a wild combination.
The Phantom thumps Gap with a low kick. Gap misses with a wild body shot. A decent looking cross lands there for Gap. The Phantom is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The Phantom slips a straight right by Gap. Derrian Gap seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gap throws a body punch but The Phantom moves out of range. #KD# Gap drops The Phantom with a left and a right! Oh, The Phantom is hurt - Gap dives into side control looking to finish!
#ROC#The Phantom is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Leo The Phantom has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB# Gap is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but The Phantom is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The Phantom is still in real trouble! Can Gap finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gap misses with the ground and pound. The Phantom seems to have recovered his senses. The Phantom is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #SUB# Gap working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. #T1# The Phantom is looking to reverse the position.#SUB# Gap is working to tighten his grip on The Phantom's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. The Phantom has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gap is really squeezing tight and eventually The Phantom passes out! Gap breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

#R1# Lewson is looking to clinch but Gap is avoiding it.
Gap throws a jab but it's blocked by Lewson. Lewson defending well as Gap loads up on a big left hand. A jab from Gap finds it's way through Lewson's defenses. Gap stuns Lewson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Gap throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lewson wants to clinch. Gap tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#CL# Gap gets tackled into the cage by Lewson. Lewson maintains the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lewson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gap backwards. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lewson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Lewson misses with some punches.

Gap takes a knee right on the jaw!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Lewson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gap's brow. Gap blocks a punch to the side of the head.

#R1# Gap jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Elliss walks into a stiff left hand from Gap. Elliss takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gap scores with a jab to the jaw. Elliss wants to clinch but Gap slips to the side and Gap counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gap fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.#ROC2#Elliss is rocked!#CL# Elliss clinches up against the cage. Oh Elliss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Elliss tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Elliss seems to have got his legs back now. Elliss displaying some good clinch control by pressing Gap up against the cage.#BC# Elliss breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#KD2# Gap lands a big uppercut and Elliss crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Elliss looks OK. Gap waves Elliss back to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gap cracks Elliss with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Elliss shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Gap connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Elliss doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Gap changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.#T1# No joy there for Gap, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Elliss tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gap defends well and Elliss ends up having to push Gap into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#BC# Elliss breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#CL# Elliss rushes Gap and presses him up against the cage. Gap swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Elliss is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gap to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Elliss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Elliss stalling.

#BC# Elliss escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gap connects with a nice looking jab.
Gap scores with a decent looking hook.#KD2# Gap cracks Elliss with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gap has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Elliss to stand back up! Derrian Gap is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. This has been an exciting period of action! Elliss gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Gap points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Elliss wakes up just in time to hear Gap thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
