Newman trying to control the position but instead, Robbins has worked for underhooks and has pushed Newman into the ropes. Robbins is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Robbins taking a breather. Newman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Robbins is looking to control Newman's arms but Newman gets an underhook and turns him. Now Robbins has his back to the ropes. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Robbins as Newman tries to tie him up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robbins displaying some good clinch control by pressing Newman up against the ropes. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Graham Robbins. Robbins seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Robbins manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
